Our mission is simple.
To make human experience and understanding of the world better by helping our clients and partners deploy a user centred design focus to the digital media products, platforms and experiences they develop.
We make the complex simple, providing clarity of vision using insight and foresight.
Where it started
As we enter 2025, i2 media is a small interdisciplinary team of specialists interrogating how people and technology interact today – and how they might do so in the future.
We have successfully completed more than 500 commissions, focused on both sides of (and across) the digital divide: from late adopters to people with very specific access and usability needs, to the earliest adopters of the latest technology and service innovations.
i2 media was founded by Professor Jonny Freeman in 2002 as a spin off company from his lab in the Psychology Department at Goldsmiths, University of London. From the very beginning, i2’s mission has been to seamlessly blend rigorous academic research with practical application, a commitment that continues to drive us.
